Former CDC director to consult with Edelman
NEW YORK: Edelman announced that Julie Gerberding, the former director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), has joined the firm as an “of counsel” advisor. She will consult with clients about strategy for the public health, nutrition and wellness, and environment and global social responsibility sectors. “It’s great for us and our clients,” said Nancy Turett, global president of health at Edelman, who also noted Gerberding’s broad experience in the health sector.
