AIG’s Wisner retires; Kelly named vice chairman

NEW YORK: Frank Wisner, vice chairman of external affairs at American International Group (AIG) has announced he plans to retire. Wisner joined AIG in 1997 and served on the board of directors until 2003. Anastasia Kelly, EVP, general counsel, and senior regulatory and compliance officer has been named to the vice chairman position. She will be responsible for communications, corporate affairs and HR functions, in addition to her current responsibilities for global legal, compliance, and regulatory matters. Prior to joining AIG in 2006, she was EVP and general counsel of MCI/WorldCom.
