CBP hires Maya for passport outreach
WASHINGTON: Government agency US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has hired Maya for a public awareness campaign about the new passport requirements that requires citizens of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Bermuda to present a passport when entering the US from any part of the Western Hemisphere. The new law went into effect on January 23, 2007. The agency held a one-day satellite media tour with CBP commissioner Ralph Basham.
