US Pharmacopeial Convention hires Heyman
ROCKVILLE, MD: The US Pharmacopeial Convention named Matthew Heyman VP of external affairs and strategic integration, effective December 1. It is a new position for the Rockville, MD-based nonprofit. Heyman, who last served as chief-of-staff for the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, MD, reports to Roger Williams, EVP and CEO of the nonprofit. He oversees government relations, PR and corporate communications, marketing, and member and professional relations functions.
