Obama names communications positions for the First Lady

WASHINGTON: President-elect Barack Obama announced three communications appointments for Michelle Obama. Camille Johnston, a former communications consultant for the Entertainment Industry Foundation, was named director of communications; Katie McCormick Lelyveld, director of communications for Michelle Obama during the campaign, was named press secretary; and Semonti Mustaphi, deputy communications director for Michelle Obama during the campaign and for the transition team, was named deputy press secretary.
