Transcontinental hires new VP of Corporate Comms
MONTREAL: Transcontinental, a printing, publishing, and marketing services company, recently appointed Sylvain Morissette as VP of corporate communications, effective February 2. He will be tasked with helping to strengthen the company’s core publishing and printing activities, as well as expanding its use of digital media. Morissette was president and CEO of the Association of Quebec Advertising Agencies since 2006, and has held various communications positions in the past. He will replace Jean Blouin, who has held the role for the past 15 years, and is returning to private practice to start his own firm.
