Bite Communications cuts staff
SAN FRANCISCO: Bite Communications has cut 6% of its workforce, eliminating seven PR employees. The layoffs were prompted by cutbacks in spending by existing clients, said David Hargreaves, Bite’s GM for North America. The agency’s New York and San Francisco offices were impacted by the layoffs. Text 100 and OutCast Communications, which along with Bite are part of Next Fifteen, have already conducted layoffs in response to the failing economy.
