Mergermarket revises league table

Posted October 31, 2008 * Comments(0)

NEW YORK: Mergermarket has updated its Q1-Q3 2008 M&A House League Tables of PR Advisers to North American M&A to reflect a change in value and volume for deals that Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher worked on. The tables released on October 7 show Joele Frank handling 48 deals worth $136.6 billion, including the InBev/Anheuser-Busch acquisition, placing them in the number three spot for value and number five for volume. Joele Frank client, Grupo Modelo, is a stakeholder in Anheuser-Busch and is contesting the acquisition. Due to the outstanding issue, mergermarket has since removed this deal from Joele Frank’s tally, bringing the new tally to 46 deals worth $76.3 billion. Their ranking for value remains the same, but their ranking for volume drops from five to six.
