NEW YORK: Abelson Group has signed Pleasanton, CA-based FunMobility and Munich, Germany-based MSearchGroove.com as clients. As AOR, Abelson Group will oversee all North American media and analyst relations initiatives for FunMobility. LOS ANGELES: CarryOn Communication has promoted VP and consumer-technology business practice leader JP Schuerman to MD of its Los Angeles headquarters. In this newly created role, Schuerman will lead consumer-tech programs across the firm’s network of offices; in addition, he will focus on expanding CarryOn’s California presence, and serve on the agency’s executive committee. Prior to joining CarryOn in 2002, Schuerman founded and led new media- and tech-focused PR firm Schuerman Communications.

In her new role, Mendola will focus on leveraging the company’s multimedia product offerings and news-distribution platform to create non-traditional editorial features.
