Eastwick hires two new managers

REDWOOD CITY, CA: Eastwick Communications has hired two new managers, EVP Linda Clarke and VP Susan Radd. Clarke joins from PSS Systems, where she was a VP. Radd joins from Edelman-Silicon Valley, where she was a VP and strategist.

Toys “R” Us selects GolinHarris for China PR

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Toys “R” Us has selected GolinHarris to handle its PR in China. The toy retailer is opening its first store in China in December. Golin will handle media relations and strategic counsel out of its Shanghai office.

Market Wire extends reach in Latin America

Market Wire clients will now have distribution to 18 countries through Agência Estado in Brazil; Notimex in Mexico; DyN in Argentina; and EFE, the world’s largest Spanish language news agency covering all Latin America countries. The enhanced distribution reaches media outlets, agencies and organizations in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

VMS partners with BuzzMetrics

Eastern Bank hires CTP

BOSTON: Eastern Bank, the largest independent, mutually owned commercial bank in New England, has selected Conover Tuttle Pace as its advertising and marketing AOR. The announcement follows a competitive review of Boston agencies. Global Communicators to rep Nobel winner

WASHINGTON: Global Communicators will serve as worldwide media relations advisor to Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammed Yunus, founder of the global microcredit movement. Cohn joins Zeno Group

NEW YORK: Lara Cohn has joined Zeno Group as SVP. In her new position, she will be responsible for working with, and helping to grow, Zeno’s consumer practice. Prior to joining Zeno, she was SVP at Steele Rose Communications, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the agency’s key accounts including Reckitt Benckiser, Noxzema, Old Spice, Veet, Revolution Tea, and Air Wick. She has also held positions at MWW Group, DeVries Public Relations, and The Lippin Group.
