Typhoon Touch Technologies selects Keating & Co.

MWW names Wadler global healthcare practice leader

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ: MWW Group has appointed Ame Wadler EVP, chief management officer and global healthcare practice leader. Formerly chief strategic officer and global healthcare practice chair at Burson-Marsteller, in her new role, Wadler will work closely with MWW Group senior management to lead the strategic direction of the agency and develop its global healthcare practice. Wadler brings 25 years of healthcare communications, pharmaceutical marketing, and issues management expertise to the MWW Group. Prior to Burson, Wadler held roles of increasing responsibility at Edelman and Hill & Knowlton.

BMC taps Ogilvy for India AOR

SAN FRANCISCO: BMC Software has selected Ogilvy PR as its AOR in India.  The agency will develop communications strategies and programs to raise the profile of BMC Software’s development center in Pune, India.   The PR strategy will also include traditional media and industry analyst relations to raise customer and channel partner awareness. Ogilvy is currently BMC Software’s AOR in a number of countries in Asia-Pacific.

Delta names Golin Harris AOR in China

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Delta Air lines has selected Golin Harris as its AOR for China. The agency will handle PR and media relationship counsel as well as activities around its inaugural flight from Atlanta to Shanghai, which is scheduled for early next year. Lydia Lee, director of the Shanghai office, will lead the account. Golin beat out two other international agencies for the business.

Ignon to lead Sitrick’s San Fran office

SAN FRANCISCO:  Lance Ignon will head Sitrick and Company’s newly opened office in San Francisco. The new office will include all of the firm’s practice areas. Ignon previously oversaw corporate, financial, and government communications at VaxGen. Prior to joining VaxGen, Ignon worked at Tenet Healthcare, and Sitrick.

Morris & King repping Scheuer book
