WASHINGTON: David Almacy has joined Edelman as SVP, digital public affairs. Almacy was previously VP, digital strategies at Waggener Edstrom. In 2005, former President George W. Bush named Almacy Internet and e-communications director for the White House. He served in that role for two years prior to joining Waggener Edstrom in 2007.
