Spurgeon joins Ketchum

SAN FRANCISCO: Stephen Spurgeon, former managing director of Porter Novelli, has made the move to Ketchum West in San Francisco. Spurgeon will take on the role of director in business development.  Spurgeon formerly held a managing director position at Ketchum, Los Angeles.

Spurgeon exits Porter Novelli, San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO: Steve Spurgeon confirmed that he has left his position as managing director at Porter Novelli’s San Francisco office. Spurgeon declined to specify the details of the departure but called it “amicable.” He is amid determining his next move, he said. Julie Winskie, president of Porter Novelli Americas, said the agency will not hire a new GM for its San Francisco office. Instead, its San Francisco EVPs will head the office.
