NEW YORK: Todd Aydelotte, founder and president of Ricochet Public Relations, has stepped in as CEO of the New York-based firm after former CEO Joshua Silverman left to start a consulting firm in mid-January. Silverman announced his departure to the Ricochet staff in November 2008 and is now partnering with Charlie Young, a former SVP of corporate marketing at WellPoint and SVP of marketing at Tyco International, on Lighstream Parnters, a consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT. Silverman and Young worked together on the WellPoint account. Ricochet is AOR for WellPoint.
Ricochet PR promotes two to MD positions
NEW YORK: Ricochet Public Relations promoted Shalon Roth to MD of healthcare and Melissa Baratta to MD of technology, effective November 18. Both Roth, who was the interim MD of technology, and Baratta, who was a senior account executive in the technology practice, report to Josh Silverman, CEO, and Todd Aydelotte, president.
JumpTV chooses Ricochet for media relations campaign
NEW YORK: JumpTV selected Ricochet Public Relations to provide a media relations campaign for the Toronto-based online sports video network. Ricochet, which is based in New York, won the account after a competitive bid. It began work May 15.
