Flowers Communications Group joins IPREX

ATLANTA: Flowers Communications Group (FCG), a Chicago-based multicultural firm, has joined the IPREX network of global independent agencies. The firm, founded in 1991, focuses on communications to the African-American population and launched FCG Latino in 2006 to target Hispanic audiences. FCG clients include American Honda, Altria, and The Black Women’s Expo.

IPREX partners with OCTO

ATLANTA: International PR firm network IPREX has formed a strategic partnership with OCTO, a European crisis management firm. The partnership was announced at the recent meeting for IPREX EMEA partners, where crisis communications was a focal point. OCTO clients include Shell, Pfizer, and Novartis.

Beth Cave joins IPREX as regional director

ATLANTA: Beth Cave has joined international agency network IPREX as its first Asia Pacific director. Based in Hong Kong, Cave will work to drive business development and partner recruitment. Cave has 17 years of experience both in-house and as a consultant advising international businesses.

Toronto firm joins IPREX

TORONTO: Toronto-based The Communications Group (TCG) has joined global firm IPREX. TCG specializes in high-tech and real estate work. Wertheim & Company is IPREX’s other Toronto member.

Vehr joins IPREX

ATLANTA: Cincinnati-based PR firm Vehr Communications has been elected a partner in the international IPREX network. Vehr was founded in early 2007 and corporate communications, crisis communications, and public affairs are among its specialities. IPREX’s North American network is now comprised of 40 offices.

IPREX launches global real estate practice

BOSTON: IPREX, the global consortia of PR firms including Barkley and Makovsky & Company, has launched IPREX Real Estate Communications Counsel, an international real estate practice. The practice will work with architects, construction firms, real estate companies, and others in the industry during all phases of the commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use development and marketing process, including sourcing of capital investment and financing and pre-development planning. Bruce Coppa, COO of the Honolulu-based IPREX member-firm Communications Pacific, is chairman of the IPREX Real Estate Communications Counsel steering committee.

Concept PR joins IPREX

ATLANTA: IPREX, a consortium of independent PR firms, has elected India-based Concept PR to its ranks. The addition adds to IPREX’s Asia Pacific group, which also has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and other Asian cities. Concept PR, part of the larger Concept Communication organization, provides brand building, IR, and other PR services. Clients include Cathay Pacific and DLF.
