DES PLAINES, IL: The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) named Gibbs & Soell its AOR. The New York-based agency’s Chicago-area office will provide strategic PR counsel, consumer and real estate media relations, and communications messaging and training. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NEW YORK: General practice Wall Street law firm Carter Ledyard & Milburn selected Gibbs & Soell as its AOR. Gibbs & Soell will work to promote the firm, its practice groups, and key partners. Carter Ledyard & Milburn was founded in 1854 and practice specialties include corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.

NEW YORK: Gibbs & Soell will promote Luke Lambert, SVP and MD of the agency’s New York office, to presidentof the firm, effective January 1, 2009. Lambert succeeds Cos Mallozzi who becomes chairman, while retaining his CEO title. Lambert will continue as MD until a successor is named. In addition, Mary Buhay was appointed to the newly created position of senior director of marketing. Buhay, who most recently was SVP of corporate communications at Medialink Worldwide, will work to raise awareness of the firm and its services.
