AARP appoints two multicultural outreach officers

WASHINGTON: AARP appointed Edna Kane-Williams to VP of African-American outreach and hired Raquel Egusquiza as VP of Hispanic outreach. Kane-Williams has been with AARP for 12 years, most recently as director of AARP Foundation Integration. Egusquiza comes to AARP from the Ford Motor Company Fund, where she was director of community development and international strategy. Both VPs will work to build AARP’s diversity, create meaningful and sustainable programs in the African-American and Hispanic spaces, and work with AARP’s Executive Diversity Council and Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
