AFTRA hires national manager of communications
LOS ANGELES: The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) hired Leslie Simmons as national manager of communications. Simmons, who most recently was the film, labor, and legal reporter for The Hollywood Reporter, will manage daily operations of the national communications department, including coordinating with local and national departments and serving as managing editor of the organization’s Web site and quarterly member magazine.
