NEW YORK: The New York-based 5W PR firm and its CEO, Ronn Torossian, is suing Four Corners Communications and its founder Drew Kerr for $20 million in damages. The December 4 suit alleges that Kerr and his firm acquired the Internet domain name ronntorossianpr.com and placed an advertisement for a Summer’s Eve Douche product there, which caused “irreparable harm to Torossian’s goodwill and reputation in violation of common law trademark principles,” according to court documents.
NEW YORK: Hip-hop artist Trina, of Slip N Slide Records, hired 5W PR to help extend her brand. The agency will provide strategic counsel, media relations, and brand building within the music, entertainment, and fashion industries.

NEW YORK: The Licensing International Expo 2009, a brand and property marketplace, hired 5W PR to oversee media relations for the second consecutive year. The show is moving to Las Vegas after 28 years in New York.
