Home Depot Canada promotes recycling program
MISSISSAUGA, ONT: Home Depot Canada has introduced two new recycling programs, which enables residents of Ontario to recycle their old non-rechargeable batteries and paint in-store. The recycling programs were launched in partnership with Stewardship Ontario, which funds the blue box program in Ontario. Tiziana Baccega, Home Depot Canada’s manager of public relations and public affairs, said PR targeted local media and was supported by the retailer’s AOR Evironics Communications, and Veritas Communications, which works with Stewardship Ontario.
