Harvard appoints Heenan VP

CAMBRIDGE, MA: Harvard University appointed Christine Heenan VP of government, community, and public affairs, effective October 1. Heenan, who is founder and president of the Clarendon Group and a former director of community and government relations at Brown University, will manage communications and media for Harvard and oversee all relations with government. Heenan is also a former Clinton White House Domestic Policy Council staffer, and a current adviser at Public Strategies. She replaces Alan J. Stone, who, after several years, left the post this summer.
