NEW YORK: Joseph McCarthy will join Publicis New York as CEO, effective August 18. He will report to Susan Gianinno, chairman and CEO of Publicis Worldwide in the US, and will partner with Rob Feakins, president and chief creative officer, of Publicis New York to run that office. McCarthy will also be a member of the Publicis USA Leadership Team and the Publicis Worldwide Management Council. McCarthy joins Publicis from Johnson & Johnson’s global marketing group where he was VP of worldwide advertising and marketing communications.
