Lagrant Foundation announces scholarships
The Lagrant Foundation, the nonprofit organization that works to increase the number of ethnic minorities in advertising, marketing, and PR, has awarded $250,000 in scholarships to minority students across the country.
Twenty-two undergraduate students received $5,000 and 14 graduate students received $10,000 through the program and will be honored at two events in June. On June 2, GolinHarris will host a career development workshop in Los Angeles, while Hill & Knowlton will host a workshop in New York on June 9. Both will be followed by a reception and awards ceremony. The Lagrant Foundation, which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, has awarded more than $770,000 in scholarships since its inception.
